The kids have blocked themselves and succeeded in making demons think they have defeated the kids. The battle starts when Emma shouts to start “this game of tag” and the kids comes of their hideouts. Using their weapons these kids releases a hailstorm on the demons with least impact. The game reaches to its climax very soon as the kids gets nothing but a dead end but thankfully many kids have started to invade the security control. There are also some serious fighting sequences and the trio also win that battle. Peter Ratri is found. The demons keeps following the ‘livestock’ but they quickly understand that it’s just another trick. By the time they get in the room which is opened already, children force reach there and cause some destruction creating panic. As children mentioned, they have no intention of killing the demons, they just need some time to get to Peter Ratri who is the actual target. Chapter 167 took us back to the beginning of the series when Ray, Norman and Emma played tag with other kids to check their ability of getting ahead of one another and see who escapes first. The children played tags once again and no matter how serious and intense the situation is, the game remains same.
It might be confusing for most of the readers when the children started pointlessly roaming here and there. However, it wasn’t pointless as the kids had a plan to attack them. Getting all the demons in one room to get the chance to release an attack through the reinforcements who were in the room, hiding in the dark that will let them reach Peter Ratri who is the real target.
