Violet Evergarden: Eternity and the Automemory Doll of Kyoto Animation and Millennium Actress by Satoshi Kon is announced to be screening in Glasgow Film Festival this year in March with the help of Anime Limited.
This will be the first UK premiere of Viole Evergarden: Eternity and the Automemory Doll which received the theatrical release in Japan in September 2019. The movie is directed by Taichi Ishidate who also directed the series.

The movie is for the audience from age 12 and onwards. The screening will take place on 1st March 2020 at 20:30, Sunday and on 2nd March 2020, at 15:45, Monday. On first day of screening the voice actor of Violet Evergarden, Yui Ishikawa will make appearance for the Q&A session.
The tickets can be bought from the festival page of the film which will be available from 30th January for GFF members and on 3rd February at 12 pm for general public. The UK rights are reserved by Anime Limited as stated by them. It is also expected to be on Netflix which originally released the series.
Moreover, in addition to the first premiere of Violet Evergarden, a classic anime of Santohi Kon (known for Perfect Blue), Millennium Actress will also be screened in the festival. It will be screened with the high quality of 4k as it has been recently released in North America by ElevenArts.

Millinium Actress is for the mature audience ad it will be screened on 2nd March at 21:00, Monday and on 3rd March at 13:45, Tuesday. Tickets will be available on 30th January for GFF members and on 3rdd February at 12 pm for general public and can be bought from the official website of the Festival
