A critically acclaimed anime film of Satoshi Kon is set to release the new English-Dub version in selected theatres which include Lumiere Music Hall in Los Angeles and Metrograph Theater in New York. The movie is brought by GKIDS and NYAV Post. The new voice actors include Victoria Grace, Shakina Nayfack and Jon Avner.
The movies will also be presented as special fan screening by GKIDS and Fathom Events on 9th March and 11th March. On 9th March, the subtitled version will be presented. Whereas the new English dubbed version will be presented on 11th March.
TOKYO GODFATHERS will be released on 13th March at The Metrograph and Laemmle’s Lumiere Music Hall.

TOKYO GODFATHERS tells the story of three homeless people in today’s Tokyo. Their lives changes when they find a baby girl in the dumpster during Christmas. As the New Year arrives, these homeless people who are ignored in the society, tries to resolve the mystery behind this baby and search for her parents. While they try to solve this mystery, their dark past haunts them due to some sudden occurrences. The movie is written by Kon and Keiko Nobumoto, directed by the well-known director Santoshi Kon and the quirky music is composed by Keiichi Suzuki. It is great movie with the blend of comedy and heartwarming moments which gives the moral of hope and redemption.
