The Promised Neverland to Receive Live-Action Adaptation

We bring a lot of new stories to our viewers, some of them are simple and honest while some are mixed with the ingredients of excitement to grab your attention. This new story seems to be peppered with some extra amount of excitement as we have come to know via some sources that Amazon is working on the production of a live-action adaptation of The Promised Neverland.

The well-known series which is written by Kaiu Shirai and beautifully illustrated by Posuka Demizu has been adapted into anime series that has gained a lot of popularity all around the world. And now it looks like it has caught the attention of Amazon which is currently developing the live-action English adaptation with the scripts that is on the verge of completion composed by Meghan Malloy.

Rodney Rothman will be directing the series while Masi Oka, will be executive producer. Miri Yoon and Roy Lee from Vertigo will also be the part of the series. The project is under production by Amazon alongside Fox 21 Television Studios. With Malloy and Rothman having the successful Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse in their track records, we can look forward to this live-action adaptation with high expectation.

The Promised Neverland is not the first Japanese anime/manga title to catch the attention of Production companies in West as recently One Punch Man was also announced to be adapted in West as a live-action series. We can’t wait to see how this turns out to be. Get ready guys because this is not going to end soon.
