The list of delayed anime and new season seem to be increasing while the anime fans are not happy with the current situation. The new anime in this list is the highly anticipated Tensura (Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken – That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime) Season 2 which has been further delayed to January 2021. The new season of the anime series was originally scheduled to air from October but due to the current unfortunate situation of COVID 19, things do not seem to go well in anime industry.
There is a lot of work that can’t be done from home so it is hard to for the artists as they are needed to be in the studio to work together. So many anime has been delayed due to the same reason during Spring 2020 and now Summer 2020 is around the corner and it seems like we are going to get more announcements like these for the next lineup. For now let’s just hope that we don’t get more news like that.
The staff of Tensura has apologized for the delay. The fans will have to wait longer than they already have and it’s going to be a long time as anime has been pushed to next year.
