This guide will tell you how much filler there is in the popular anime series Soul Eater. Atsushi Kubo created the Soul Eater anime series and manga. It broadcast on TV Tokyo for 51 episodes from July 7, 2008, to March 30, 2009. The Shibusen Fight Club, the DWMA’s two Death Scythes, Shinigami, and Maka Albarn and her partners are the three teams that make up Soul Eater.

Soul Eater Plot

Maka Albarn works with her partner Soul Eater as part of a team to collect and destroy the souls of 99 bad humans and one witch, who are transformed into “Black Blood,” a liquid material that may be utilized as a devastating weapon against evil. Maka and Soul are Death Weapon Meister Academy (DWMA) students from Death City, California.

The plot follows these two companions as they work with their other meister/weapon couples to capture witches’ souls. They discover more about themselves and their goal in the world of witches as they move through their tasks. During this time, Shinigami (Death himself) sends his son Death the Kid to keep an eye on them, keep them from turning rogue, and discreetly help them overcome specific difficulties in their lives so that they can one day surpass him in strength.

How Much Filler is in Soul Eater?

The Soul Eater anime is made up of filler episodes that are regarded non-canon to both the original manga and anime and were created only for the English adaptation. FUNimation adapted and translated all of the episodes, which were produced by Bones Studio.

There are 17 filler episodes in all, therefore around 33% of the show is filler. These episodes were left off of the list since they didn’t feature any key story points that were relevant to the entire series.
