On November 21 it was declared on Anime Festival Asia that anime movie Saenai Heroine no Sodate-kata fine inspired by the novel Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend by Fumiaki Maruto will be screened by Aniplus-Asia in the occasion held on November 29. Later on the movie will be screened by Aniplus-Asia in the regions of Southeast Asia
From November 29 to December 1 the event will be held in Singapore at the Suntec Convention Center.
In Japan the movie was released at the 5th position. On Saturday and Sunday it generated 136,362,600 yen. On October 26 the movie was released on 121 screens and till now it had generated aggregate profit of 547,164,490 yen.
The movie was directed at CloverWorks and the head director was Kanta Kamei and Akihisa Shibata was the director. To write the script of the movie Fumiaki Maruto came back and he characters were again designed by Tomoaki Takase. The movie is being distributed by Aniplex.
