Pokémon: Twilight Wings Net Anime Shorts Reveal Cast


On Friday the authorized website of the cast of net anime miniseries called Pokémon: Twilight Wings by Studio Colorido of the Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield Nintendo Switch role-playing games was declared. The cast members are Aoi Yūki, Kei Shindou, Takahiro Sakurai, Kazuhiro Yamaji, Ayumi Nagao, Eri Kitamura, Sora Amamiya, Yuko Sanpei, Ryou Hirohashi, LYNN, and Seirou Ogino. The website didn’t mention the roles of the cast members.

There will be seven episodes of five minute of the series. On January 15 the primary episode will premiere on YouTube and every month a new episode will premiere subsequently.

The shorts are explained by the Pokémon Company International in the following manner:

Galar is where Pokémon fights have formed into a social sensation. Over the range of seven scenes, Pokémon: Twilight Wings will appear in detail the fantasies of Galar’s occupants, the substances they face, the difficulties they should survive and the contentions they should resolve. Notwithstanding these new stories, fans can hope to see an assortment of Pokémon initially found in the Galar district showing up in the container arrangement.

The anime will be a troupe dramatization demonstrating the battles and clashes of youngsters living in the Galar area.

The anime is being directed by Shingo Yamashita. The scripts are being written by Sawa Kinoshita and the scripts are being managed by Taku Kishimoto. The designer of characters is Shin Ogasawara. The color designer is Izumi Hirose and the art direction is being done by Yūsuke Takeda and Takamasa Masuki. The in charge of 3DCG is Masato Takahashi. The direction of photography is being done by Katsuhito Ogawa. The sound director is Masafumi Mima.

On November 15 the games dispatched globally for Switch. In their primary week the gamed vended 2 million units in Japan. Nintendo also declared that in between its primary two days the games vended more than 2 million copies in the United States which noted that it’s the highest grossing release of Pokémon game in the U.S. In between its primary week the game vended more than 6 million units globally. Altogether Pokémon Sword/Shield broke the records for highest first-week sales of a Switch game and the fastest Switch game to reach 6 million units sold.
