On Sunday it was declared by Aniplus-Asia that starting from August 6, Thursday it is going to broadcast the original television anime Zombie Land Saga, with every Thursday and Friday new episodes at 4:30 p.m. GMT +8.
In October 2018 the anime Zombie Land Saga by MAPPA, Avex Pictures, and Cygames was debuted. The anime is going to have a follow up project named Zombie Land Saga Revenge.
The anime follows Sakura Minamoto, who fantasies about being an icon, yet is hit by a vehicle and awakens as a zombie. A man named Kōtarō Tatsumi shows up and reveals to her he’s enlisting her into a symbol bunch comprised of zombies, dead young ladies he has enrolled from a few times of Japanese history.
The anime was directed at MAPPA by Munehisa Sakai. The series composition was supervised by Shigeru Murakoshi. The characters were designed by Kasumi Fukagawa and the music was composed by Yasuharu Takanashi.
