On Thursday it was declared by the authorized Facebook account of the Adult Swim’s Toonami programming block that starting from August 29 the anime Assassination Classroom is going to join the Saturday night lineup. The show is going to broadcast at 1:00 a.m.
The full lineup of the August 2019 is following:
- 12:00 AM – Dragon Ball Super
- 12:30 AM – JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind
- 01:00 AM – Assassination Classroom
- 01:30 AM – Black Clover
- 02:00 AM – Fire Force
- 02:30 AM – Naruto Shippūden
- 03:00 AM – Samurai Jack
From 2012 to 2016 the manga Assassination Classroom by Yusei Matsui is going to be in succession in the Weekly Shonen Jump. In 2015 a television anime series of 22 episodes based on the manga was broadcast and in 2016 the subsequent season of 25 episodes was broadcast. Then in November 2016 an anime movie was released in Japan.
In March 2015 and March 2016 two live action movies based on the Assassination Classroom was released in Japan, concurrently.
