On Thursday it was disclosed in this year’s 46th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump that manga maker Jun Mayuzuki is starting a new manga named Kowloon Generic Romance that will be published on 7 November at the 49th isse of the magazine.
In 2014 the last manga named After the Rain by Mayuzuki was published in Shogakukan’s Monthly Big Comic Spirits magazine and in the starting of 2016 it was move to the Weekly Big Comic Spirits and every week a new successive chapter was publish and in March 2018 it was concluded. In April 2018 the 10th which was also the last volume was certified by Vertical and it was dispatched on September 17.
In January 2018 the anime version of 12 episode based on this manga was started on on Fuji TV at the Noitamina programming block. The show was completely telecast on Amazon Prime Video inside the Japan and as well as outside the border of Japan.
In May 2018 a live action movie was also released based on this manga.
