On Friday it was disclosed by this year’s March issue of Shueisha’s Cookie magazine that a new manga named Bloody Bride -Kyūketsuki no Konkatsu- will be commenced by Koi Ikeno on March 26 in the next issue of the magazine. The magazine prodded that the story is around two vampires who meander looking for the destined lady of the hour. The primary chapter length will be of 45 pages, comprising colored starting pages.
In 1982 the manga Tokimeki Tonight was commenced by Ikeno and until 1994 it was in succession. From 1998 to 1999 the last arc the Tokimeki Tonight – Hoshi no Yukue was consecutive in the Shueisha’s shōjo manga magazine Ribon. In 2002 the interchanged retelling manga Tokimeki Midnight was debuted. In 2013 the eight chapter manga named Tokimeki Tonight – Makabe Shun no Jijō was premiered which focuses on the story from the point of view of Makabe, and after that in 2015 a one shot named Tokimeki Tonight – Makabe Shun no Jijō+ was debuted. A one volume prequel named Tokimeki Tonight: Etō Mōri no Kakeochi was also illustrated by Ikeno which was issued in 2015 by Shueisha as a graphic novel.
Lately in January 2018 the one shot Tokimeki Tonight ~Makabe Shun Fusai no Honeymoon illustrated by Ikeno was premiered. Then she illustrated a two chapter manga Tokimeki Tonight short named Tokimeki Tonight ~Makabe-ke no Kikyō that centers on the story moving towards the birth of Taku who is Ranze and Makabe son. From November to December 2018 two of the chapters were in succession in Cookie.
In 1982 an anime series version was made based by the original manga Tokimeki Tonight.
