On Tuesday it was declared by Toei Animation that Netflix has add up the first 41 episode of the 1986 anime series Saint Seiya with a English dub and captions. This series will be for the fans of North America, New Zealand, and Australia.
From 1986 till 1990 the real manga named Saint Seiya was successive in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine by Masami Kurumada. Many anime series, OVA’s, anime movies, and follow-up mangas were made based on this manga. On July 19 a CG anime was recreate that was premiered globally on Netflix. A Hollywood live action movie was also authorized.
The real manga was issued in English named Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac by Viz Media. Anime version of Toei Animation with English dub named Knights of the Zodiac was premiered by ADV Films and after that it was telecast without editing with the name Saint Seiya. The series was later telecast on DVD by New Video Group.
Lots of follow-up and sequel manga by by Kurumada along with various authors was made based on the series. Anime versions were also made based on these manga. Last December the anime version of the follow-up manga Saint Seiya: Saintia Shō was also made.
