On Saturday it was disclosed by the entertainment news website Cinema Today that voice over artist Natsuki Hanae is going to voice a main role in the Studio 4°C’s anime movie version of the novel Gyokō no Nikuko-chan by Kanako Nishi. The role that is going to be play by Hanae is going to be of a young boy.
In starting of the summer the anime is going to be released in Japan.
The anime is being directed at Studio 4°C by Ayumu Watanabe. The script is being written by Satomi Ooshima. The character designer and the main animation director is Kenichi Konishi. The movie is being planned and produced by Sanma Akashiya. The movie is being distributed by ASMIK Ace.
In April 2014 the original novel was issued by Gentosha. The “human dramatization” novel focuses on a mother named Nikuko and her girl, Kikuko, who live on a boat. The epic follows their ways throughout everyday life, and their development. The novels consist of more than 35,000 copies in print form.
