One of the Big Three member gets a flashback story in this episode, Tamaki Amajiku. We get to witness the appearance of little Mirio! They’re both very valued! We started with flashback of Tamaki making his way into a brand new grade school and being very nervous while introducing himself. He whispers and is usually very silent, because of the fact all the students had previously gone to school together, he feels very lonely. Until the day Mirio contacted him, he thought he will never be able to make any friends. Like the sun, Mirio was very sparkling and energetic and he was willing to talk to them. In the entire episode it was reminded again and again on how big of an inspiration Mirio was to Tamaki. How he inspired him in the past and is still an inspiration.
The biggest hurdle for Tamaki and the thing that doesn’t let him move forward is the fact that he worries too much about everything, gets anxious and undervalues himself. He is letting himself down, this is informed to him by Mirio and Fat gum. He is intelligent, he has a powerful ability and later if he gains some confidence. He can become a force that surpasses Mirio. The idea of his hero name was given to him by Mirio back in middle school. If Mirio represents the sun himself, then Tamaki must be something that even surpasses it.

During these flashbacks, in the present time heroes are sprinting towards the building, the Shie Hassaikai are trying their best to slow down their motion. The little guy who always sticks with Overhaul, he crawls into the wall after injecting himself with a quirk enhancing drug. His quirk is not even able to dislocate anything larger than a fridge, but now with this quirk enhancement drug he is able to control things at a larger extent, for example walls, floors and ceiling of the building. But that didn’t stop Mirio, using his quirk to make himself intangible and moving through the walls, while everyone else are left behind and later on gets trapped inside a room with three of the Hassaikai’s attendant.
Tamaki asks everyone to leave them to him.
He will handle the three of them by himself, he asks them a favor before they leave him with the three enemies that they take care of Mirio in his absence. Mirio is type of guy if makes up his mind to accomplish something he will give his all and maybe even more with that in mind. The heroes must hurry to catch up with him before letting him passing his limits.
Fat gum approves his request to leave Tamaki behind to fight the three of the enemies. If Tamaki believes he will be enough for them then Fat gum trusts him on his words. Now the remainder of the episode is the battle between Amajiki and the Hassaikai members.
Even if all the odds are stacked against Amajiki, he has countless tricks hidden up his sleeve and he uses everything in order to take down all the enemies. While the objective of the enemies to pursue Overhaul was still not clear to him and do they want to put their lives on the line for their leader. But the respects their friendship, synergy and bonds and get an upper hand there. He was even able to manifests one of the quirks of the enemies and that was very awesome. His slick moves leads him to victory which also concludes the episode.
The animation in this episode was tremendous and the actions sequences were very appealing, which is not surprising from My Hero since the start. The heartwarming scenes were the backstory and how the relation between Tamaki and Mirio comes into being. And the part which really got me emotionally attached is when Mirio claims that he is not as incredible as Tamaki thinks he is and declares Tamaki is more incredible then the thinks about himself. It’s impossible to view ourselves what others thinks about us, by motivating each other they are improving themselves.
Just like that, Izuku and Bakugo’s relationship also led them to become stronger. Their rivalry caused the growth in them, but with less hatred.
Kirirshma will again be the major focus in the next episode and that adds up to my excitement for the next episode. The idea of character-focused episodes is really appealing which we seems to get a lot in this season. Although MHA is about the journey of Izuku in becoming a great hero but his struggles along with his classmates is a significant part of the storyline and that makes it even more intriguing. For instance, the backstory of Sun Eaters and the the story about Kirishma’s hard work. I really wish to see some flashbacks in the premiere episode of Red Riots.
