On Thursday the 2nd promo video, new cast members, and extra cast members of the anime version of manga In/Spectre by Kyo Shirodaira and Chasiba Katase was revealed along with some information. The video also shows a starting song called Mononoke in the Fiction which is done by Lie and a Chameleon.
The new cast members include:
Saki Mihara by Misato Fukuen
Karin Nanase by Sumire Uesaka
Detective Terada by Kenji Hamada
Another character named Kōjin Nanase was also showed but without any voice over artist.
In January 2020 this anime will be debuted on TV Asahi, MBS, and BS-NTV. In Japan this anime will be telecast on Anime Store along with other services. The anime is going to be co-produced by Crunchyroll.
Akari Kitō is the voice over artist for the character of Kotoko Iwanaga and Mamoru Miyano is going to present voice to the character of Kuro Sakuragawa in the anime.
The concluding song of the anime will be done by Mamoru Miyano.
The manga is going to be issued in English by Kodansha Comics and it explains the mystical romantic mystery in following manner:
When Kotoko was a young girl she was abducted by yokai. The spirits composed her into a powerful mediator between the human world the spirit world but she had pay a cost in order for these powers and that cost was a leg and an eye. After some years she watches out for the threatening Yokai and at the same time her feelings are increasing for Kuro who is a young and handsome man. Kuro also have some powers he can cure anyone with his power. He gets surprised when Kotoko ask him to joins hand with her in order to hold the traitor yokai and protect the line which joins the real world and the spirit world.
The anime is going to directed at Brains Base by Keiji Gotoh. The series script is supervised by Noboru Takagi. The characters are being designed by Takatoshi Honda who is also the main director for animation. The project is going to be presented by NAS. The starting song of the anime is going to be written and presented by Uso to Chamaeleon.
In April 2015 the manga was published in Kodansha’s Shōnen Magazine R by Katase which was inspired by the novel of Shirodaira in 2011. This manga is the first consecutive work by Katase. In 2018 this manga was designated in the 42nd Annual Kodansha Manga Awards in the category of Best Shōnen Manga. On Thursday the 1th assembled volume was issued by Kodansha in Japan. On 26 February the 9th volume was issued in English by Kodansha Comics.
