More Cast, Song Artists, Visual Revealed by Movie Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop

On Tuesday the authorized website of the original anime movie Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop by Flying Dog disclosed two new cast members, the singers of the theme song, and a new visual by Yukiko Aikei the designer of characters of the movie.

The cast of the movie will be joined by Hiroshi Kamiya and Maaya Sakamoto. Also the theme song called Cider no Yō ni Kotoba ga Wakiagaru of the movie will be presented by the band never young beach. Another theme song called YAMAZAKURA of the movie is presented by Taeko Onuki.  It was stated by the director Kyōhei Ishiguro that he had listened songs by Taeko Onuki a lot of time in between the production of the movie.

The actor Kabuki actor Ichikawa Somegorō VIII is going to provide voice for the first time in his character to the character of Cherry and actress Hana Sugisaki is going to provide voice to the character of Smile.

  1. Kōichi Yamadera as Fujiyama, Cherry’s haiku teacher
  2. Megumi Han as Bieber, Cherry’s friend
  3. Natsuki Hanae as Japan, Cherry’s friend and an idol otaku
  4. Yuichiro Umehara as Toughboy, Cherry’s acquaintance
  5. Megumi Nakajima as Julie, Smile’s big sister
  6. Sumire Morohoshi as Marie, Smile’s little sister

In the movie the character of Tsubasa Fujiyama will be played by Kikuko Inoue. The character is the daughter of Fujiyama who is Cherry’s haiku teacher.

The visual highlights the slogan, I met you in my seventeenth summer … The kid meets-young lady story delineates how words and music conquer any hindrance between Cherry, a kid who is horrible at speaking with others, and Smile, a young lady who holes up behind a veil. They meet in an unremarkable rural shopping center in a common city.

Cherry consistently wears earphones and puts the emotions he can’t express into his side interest, Japanese haiku sonnets. Grin consistently wears a veil to disguise her huge front teeth, for which she has dental supports. As a mainstream video star, she streams a video about looking for charm.

May 15 the movie will be released.

The original movie celebrates the 10th anniversary of the animation and music production subsidiary Flying Dog of the Victor Entertainment. The anime is being directed at Signal.MD and Sublimation by Kyōhei Ishiguro. The screenplay is being penned by Dai Sato and the characters are being designed by Yukiko Aikei. The music is being scored by composer kensuke ushio.

On November 27 a manga version was commenced in the Kadokawa’s Monthly Comic Alive magazine by Ōnoimo.
