Manga Happy-Go-Lucky Days Romance By Takako Shimura Gets Anime Film Early Next Summer


 

On Wednesday a website was started to declare that an anime version based on the manga Happy-Go-Lucky Days by Takako Shimura has been given permission. Next summer the anime will be released in cinemas for a selected screening run.

The manga is anthology of stories related to everyday routine life style and the subject is about romance that can be sometimes charming, lovable and sometimes it can be agonizing. From 2002 to 2004 the manga ran in Ohta Publishing’s Manga Erotics F magazine and a modified anthology of the manga is being vended by Ohta Publishing in two volumes.

The anime is being directed at LIDEN FILMS Kyoto Studio by Takuya Satō. The technical director is Koji Aritomi. The screenplay has been penned by Satō, Yasunori Ide, and Yoriko Tomita. The characters have been designed by Haruka Sagawa.

The color key artist is Sachie Nakamura. The art concept was done by Yutaka Ito and the director of art is Yukihiro Saitō. The compositing director of photography is Junpei Takatsu and the editing is being done by Mai Hasegawa. The anime is being distributed by Pony Canyon.

Anime versions were made of manga Wandering Son and Sweet Blue Flowers by Shimura.
