On Tuesday the final event of manga Darwin’s Game by FLIPFLOP started in its 22nd assembled book volume.
In December 2012 the manga was commenced in Akita Shoten’s Bessatsu Shōnen Champion magazine by FLIPFLOPs. The story of the manga was provided by Shū Miyama while the illustration has been provided by Yuki Takahata. In January the manga entered in its last arc.
The manga focuses on Kaname Sudō, a secondary school kid who is attracted to a secretive game application named Darwin’s Game. He gets engaged with a social game where the stakes are last chance.
In January a television anime was debuted based on the manga with a one hour episode. The series was telecast by FunimationNow as it was broadcast. In February the anime was premiered on Crunchyroll and HIDIVE.
In January the FLIPFLOPs dup commenced a serialized prequel of the novel in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine, the story is being penned by Miyama and the illustrations is being done by Takahata. The story of the novel centers on Shuka and Rain’s past. On August 27 the succession of the novel was concluded.
