On Sunday the authorized Twitter account of the anime Granblue Fantasy started to telecast a new advertising video of the new anime special Djeeta-hen. On March 27 the special is going to debut at 24:00 which means on March 28 at 12:00 a.m. The captioned special Extra 1: Mou Hitotsu no Tabiji is going to broadcast on Tochigi TV, Gunma TV, and BS11 and is going to telecast on AbemaTV.

- Hisako Kanemoto as Djeeta
- Kana Hanazawa as Zeta
- Aya Hirano as Beatrix
The Djeeta-hen captioned anime is going to celebrate the 6th anniversary of the game and it is also considered has a part of the whole GRANBLUE FANTASY The Animation Season 2 anime.
The primary season of the anime also comprised of a non broadcast episode on the 7th home video set out that showed Djeeta as the leading character.
Last October the GRANBLUE FANTASY The Animation Season 2 debuted and it is listed with 14 episodes. The series was broadcast by all HIDIVE, Funimation, and Crunchyroll as soon as it was broadcast.
The new season was directed at MAPPA by Yui Umemoto, in place of Ayako Kurata the primary season series director and Yuuki Itoh at the A-1 Pictures. The new author supervisor of the series scripts was Kiyoko Yoshimura. The new designer of characters was Fumihide Sai. For music composition Tsutomu Narita and Yasunori Nishiki came back.
In April 2017 the primary anime season of the Smartphone game Granblue Fantasy by Cygames debuted in Japan and was in succession for 13 episodes. The primary season was telecast by Aniplex of America on the services Crunchyroll, Daisuki, and Anime Strike. Last month the primary season was started to telecast by Funimation.
In January 2017 the anime special Zankutinzeru-Hen premiered on Tokyo MX and the AbemaTV streaming service in Japan and after that the main television series was debuted. The special was telecast by Crunchyroll, Daisuki, and Anime Strike.
