On Monday it was disclosed by the November issue of Kodansha’s Good! Afternoon magazine that on the coming issue on 7 November a new manga named Nōryoku Shujinkō Hosei will be published by the manga makers Mohiro Kitoh and Tōma. The story line is by Kitoh and illustration is done by Tōma.
On 26 March a one-shot story named Bass o Tsuri nara was issued in this year’s 8th issue of Kodansha’s Evening magazine by Kitoh.
In August 2017 Kitoh went through an operation of spinal canal stenosis which was informed in March in the Evening magazine. It was declared that Kitoh is not sufficiently healthy to draw or write in the usual sequence he requested people to remain patient till he is healthy enough to start again his manga Hayabusa-chan mo Tondemasu. In September 2017 he had put a break on the manga in order to take rest and focus on improving after his operation.
From 2004 till 2009 the manga Bokurano by Kitoh was started in Shogakukan’s Ikki magazine. The 11 volumes were printed by Viz Media in its mark Ikki line as Bokurano: Ours. In 2007 an anime series by GONZO was started based on this manga having the same name.
Manga Shadow Star half part by Kitoh was also issued in English in Dark Horse Comics. In 2003 an anime version named Shadow Star Narutaru was started based on this manga.
