On Tuesday it was verified by the authorized website of the anime Boruto: Naruto Next Generations that the anime is going to enter a new arc named Kara Shidō-hen with Kenjiro Tsuda as the voice over artist of the new character Jigen. It disclosed a new visual of the new arc.
From May 3 onwards the new episodes of the anime is going to be postponed because of the emergency announced to fight against the spread of the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19). It was planned that the show is going to broadcast its 155th episode on that day but now it is going to start rerunning the show from its primary episode instead. The planned 154th episode of April 26 is still going to broadcast.
In January the anime is going to enter its Mujina Bandits Arc.
In April 2017 the television anime Boruto: Naruto Next Generations debuted in Japan on TV Tokyo and originally it was broadcast on Wednesday at sharp 5:55 p.m. In May 2018 the series was shifted to a new timeslot on Thursday at 7:25 p.m. and then in October 2018 it was again shifted to a new timeslot on Sundays at 5:30 p.m.
The series is being simulcast by Viz Media on Hulu as it broadcasts in Japan and the anime is being telecast by Crunchyroll. In September 2018 the anime was started to be broadcast on Adult Swim’s Toonami block. The anime is being set out on home video by Viz Media.
In May 2016 a follow up manga Boruto by Ukyō Kodachi and Mikie Ikemoto was commenced in Weekly Shonen Jump and the anime is inspired by the manga. Last July the manga shifted to the Shueisha’s V Jump magazine.
