On Thursday it was disclosed by the May issue of Shueisha’s Cookie magazine that a new manga named Rose Rosey Roseful Bud by Ryo Ikuemi is going to commence on May 26 in the magazine’s July issue. The magazine probed that the manga is going to be about the work and love life of a manga maker on the edge who is in her 40s named Shōko Kanbara. The manga is going to have a 40 page starting chapter, comprising a colored starting page, and it is going to feature on the front cover of the issue.
In 1933 an OVA was made based on the manga Pops by Ikuemi, in 2013 a live action movie was made based by her manga Kiyoku Yawaku, and in 2017 a live action television series was made based by the manga Anata no Koto wa Sorehodo. In March 2018 a live action movie based on the manga Principal by Ikuemi was released in Japan. The manga Cousin by Ikuemi was distributed in digital format by JManga in English and after that is closed its doors.
In May 2018 the manga Taiyō ga Miteiru by Ikuemi was concluded. In March 2014 the series was commenced in Cookie by her. In July 2018 the 8th and last volume of the manga was issued by Shueisha.
In January 2019 the manga Eine Kleine Nachtmusik by Ikuemi inspired by the novel by Kōtarō Isaka, on Gentosha’s Comic Boost manga website was commenced. Last September a new manga named 1-nichi 2-kai was also commenced by Ikuemi.
