In Japan Movie Shirobako and Live-Action Movie Wotakoi Drop Off Top 10

In its fourth week the follow up anime movie Shirobako fell from the top 10 but from Friday to Sunday it still generated 20,014,500 yen. It generated an aggregate of 322,655,000 yen.

On February 29 the movie was released in 158 cinemas in Japan.

In its seventh week the live action movie of manga Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku by Fujita also fell from the top 10. From Friday to Sunday it still generated 9,895,850 yen and it has generated an aggregate of 1,297,699,850 yen.

On February 7 the movie was released in 304 screens.

In its fourth week the Kamen Rider Zi-O Next Time: Geiz, Majesty fell to the 4th position from the 3rd position on the small cinema chart.

Because of the alarm situation because of the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) many Japanese distributors have postponed the set outs of latest movies like Shimajirō to Sora Tobu Fune, Eiga Doraemon: Nobita no Shin Kyoryū, , Gekijō-ban Ultraman Taiga: New Gene Climax, Eiga Precure Miracle Leap: Minna to Fushigi na 1-nichi, Onward, and Dolittle. They have also postponed the set out of the forthcoming movies Sonic the Hedgehog, Little Women, No Time to Die, Mulan, A Quiet Place Part II, Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway and Looking for Magical DoReMi.
