Follow up Manga Yowamushi Pedal: Spare Bike Inspires Stage Play in July

On April 2 it was declared by the authorized Twitter account of the stage play versions of manga Yowamushi Pedal by Wataru Watanabe that in July a new stage play is going to be in succession in Tokyo and Osaka. Then on Thursday it was declared by the Twitter account that the new play is going to be inspired by follow up manga Yowamushi Pedal: Spare Bike. From July 7 to 12 the play is going to be in succession in Tokyo at The Galaxy Cinema and then from July 18 to 19 in Osaka at Namikiri Hall.

The follow up manga series Yowamushi Pedal: Spare Bike centers on the starting years of the students of third year. In September 2016 the anime movie version of the manga was screened in cinemas for a two-week limited run.

From February 21 to 23 the 14th stage play Yowamushi Pedal Shin Interhigh-hen Final: Power of Bike (image is placed above) of the series was in succession in Tokyo and from February 27 to 29 in Osaka.

In 2008 the original manga Yowamushi Pedal was commenced by Wataru Watanabe in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine. The account of the first manga bases on Sakamichi Onoda, an otaku at Sōhoku High School.
