Fist of the North Star is created by Tetsuo Hara and is a long-running shounen manga. It’s the story of Kenshiro, a great martial artist who utilizes the strength of his fists to protect those he loves about and overcome those who stand in his way.
The manga has been adapted into four anime television series, one live-action film, and a number of video games.

Fist of the North Star Plot
The story takes place in the year 199X on a post-apocalyptic Earth (Japans version of 1984). After a nuclear war, the world is ruled by an organization known as the Autonomic Republic of Sarlia. Many of the war survivors live in fortified settlements and have been trained to fight for their life.
The main character Kenshiro is looking for his kidnapped lover when he comes across a little boy named Bat who has been injured while defending his town from raiders. He travels to a nearby village, where he assists the locals in defending themselves against raiders, who he discovers are led by his old enemy Shin and his elder brother Raoh. Kenshiro discovers that Shin kidnapped Bat in order to use his blood to unlock a gate that will lead him to dominate the world.
