In these stressful days we have been getting a lot of bad news about the delay of new anime shows and the latest announcement by Evangelion movie is by far the worst. After so many hype about the new Evangelion movie, and the announcement of the release date which was 27th June, that made the fans excited and more and more eager, the official twitter account f the movie has recently announced that the movie has been postponed due to COVID 19.
A state of emergency has been imposed in Japan to keep the citizens safe and make them stay at their homes, so the decision to postponed the movie is understandable as theatres will also be closed due to the state of emergency. Anno’s Studio Khara that holds the rights for Evangelion has also give a message to the fans to tell them that hey will be working hard to keep up to their expectations.
