Punipuni to Sarasara (Squishy and Silky) manga by Etorouji Shiono will end on 16 July in the September issue of the Shonengahosha’s Young King Ours GH magazine. This was announced on the magazine’s official twitter account on Monday.
The story of the manga revolves around the character Takumi Sarashina, who is a high school student. His grandmother has recently passed away and Takumi takes over the model store of his grandmother. Takumi does not have much interest in modeling, neither does he have any particular hobbies. While running the store one day as usual, he reunites with a girl named Fumika Fuji. This was the same girl that he had a crush on when he was in middle school. Fumika has an interest in model warships and buys them frequently from Takumi’s store, she thus becomes a regular visitor at his store. Fumika and Takumi become friends with each other and Takumi develops a keen interest in the modeling world.
The manga was launched in December 2017 by Shiono and the 2nd compiled volume of the manga was published by Shonengahosha on 29 March.
Ubel Blatt manga by Shiono ended on 25 March. The manga was licensed in North America by Yen Press and the 11th Omnibus volume was released on 18 September in English.
