Demon Slayer Season 3 – What we know so far Kimetsu no Yaiba S3

Demon Slayer Seaosn 3: Koyoharu Gotge writes and illustrates the manga series Demon Slayer. On April 6, 2019, the second season of the anime adaptation debuted. What we know about Season 3 of “Demon Slayers” now that Season 2 has concluded.

What was already a sure thing, that production on the third season of Demon Slayer would begin soon, has now been confirmed. After the conclusion of the second season in February 2022, word arrived that production had begun on a third. Based on the data at hand, we can assume that Demon Slayer will return for a third season in 2023.

What follows is an extensive rundown of everything we know and don’t know about the upcoming third season of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. You will learn when this amazing anime series may finally be available to watch, if a trailer has been made, what the show may be about, and much more.

Demon Slayer Season 3 Release Date

Confirmation of a season 3 of Demon Slayer came in February of 2022. The second season of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba was an enormous success around the world, so this news is hardly shocking. Given the show’s popularity and the wealth of source material still to be adapted, a third season was inevitable. We didn’t think there was any reason to doubt it, and our prediction that a new season would be ordered after the current one concluded proved correct.

Based on this information, we estimate that it will be at least a year until the release of the season 3 of Demon Slayer, and that it won’t come out before 2023 at the earliest.

Demon Slayer Season 3 Trailer

As you now have access to all the information and our opinions regarding season 3 of Demon Slayer, you have likely already concluded that there is no trailer for the upcoming season. Reason being, production on season three has only just begun, so a trailer would be premature. Instead, we should wait until season three is officially greenlit before getting our hopes up.

We already knew that Demon Slayer would be back for another season, but at this point in production, a trailer wouldn’t do the show justice. Renewal was almost guaranteed, what with the manga’s massive popularity and the anime’s status as one of the all-time greats of the genre. However, we still don’t have any official information on the release of the new season, so the trailer will have to wait for a little while.

Demon Slayer Season 3 Plot

At this point in time, we can safely assume that the next major story arc following the Entertainment District Arc will be adapted for the next season 3 of Demon Slayer. The Swordsmith Village Arc and the smaller Hashira Training Arc both serve as preludes to the more substantial Final Battle Arc. We can now reveal the Swordsmith Village storyline to you because we know what the season 3 will change to accommodate. Read on for a quick summary of each.

So that he may get a brand new Nichirin Blade, Tanjiro Kamado was dispatched to the Swordsmith Village. There, he runs across Genya Shinazugawa and Mitsuri Kanroji. Tanjiro, out and about in town, encounters Muichiro Tokito, who is looking for a key to give to Kotetsu in exchange for the ancient doll Yoriichi Zeroroshiki, which holds the peculiar Nichirin Blade.

While working on his martial arts skills with the doll, Muichiro accidentally fractures one of her six limbs. Kotetsu gives up and runs away because he is too discouraged to try to restore the doll and become a craftsman like his father. When Tanjiro locates him, he lends moral and emotional assistance. Once Kotetsu returns to the shattered doll, he challenges Tanjiro to surpass “that damn indifferent bastard” by improving his strength.

Training with the combat doll is starting, and it’s going to hurt. Tanjiro still manages to hit the doll after 7 days, and he learns to detect the enemy’s movements through smell; the next day, he decapitates Yoriichi Zeroshiki. Once inside, the heroes discover an old nichirin blade, which Hotaru Haganezuka takes to have honed and polished.

The 5th and 4th upper moons launch an attack on the hamlet. In the middle of Muichiro Tokito’s formative chat with Tanjiro Kamado, a fight breaks out between the two of them and Hantengu. The course of this conflict links Genya Shinazugawa and Nezuko Kamado. When Muichiro is pushed off the battlefield, he runs upon Gyokko, who is polishing off Haganezuku.

By forcing himself to the limit, Muichiro is able to unleash a misty mark and vanquish Gyokko. Mitsuri Kanroji, meanwhile, has joined the fight against Hantengu and been marked with a heart-shaped symbol. Tanjiro wields his fresh, unpolished blade to pursue the genuine body of the fourth moon. As a result of this victory, Nezuko Kamado is no longer affected by the sun’s rays, and the fifth and fourth Kizuki has been vanquished.

Where can you watch Season 3 of Demon Slayer?

Given that we have no idea when Demon Slayer season 3 will premiere, there is nowhere to go right now to watch it. We still don’t know which Japanese TV network will air the show, but knowing how anime works, you can presumably stream and/or watch it on Crunchyroll in the West (and maybe even beyond, if one of the streaming services, like Netflix, acquires the show).

Will there be a Demon Slayer Season 4?

Even though it may be premature to talk about a potential fourth season of Demon Slayer given that we don’t even know when the third season will officially air (now that we know that it is in the works), there are several strong indicators that Demon Slayer will continue even after the potential third season has aired.

To be more specific, Demon Slayer has not even come close to reaching the end of the manga, and the seasons don’t have a particularly high episode count. This means that the creators of the show have less room to develop the plot within a single season, but they also have more room to develop new seasons, as you shouldn’t really rush shows like this.

Given how famous Demon Slayer is and how well it is doing, as well as the fact that the anime adaptation hasn’t adapted the entire story (not even half of it), we can not see how a potential third season can really finish the story, which means that a fourth season is also almost certain to happen. Seeing as how the anime hasn’t adapted the whole story (not even half of it), we don’t see how a potential third season could wrap things up. But before we can be certain, we will need to wait for some official news.
