On Tuesday the authorized website of the anime shorts Days of Urashimasakatasen declared that the anime will get a DVD set out on February 26 along with a non broadcast 13th episode.
On October 2 the anime debuted in Japan and was broadcast with 12 episodes. The series was telecast by Crunchyroll as soon as it was broadcast.
The anime revolves around on the individuals from this present reality four-part male vocal unit Urashimasakatasen. Uratanuki, Shima, Tonari no Sakata, and Senra show up in the shorts as secondary school understudies. Every individual from the vocal unit voices his similarity in the anime.
At GAINAX Kyoto Kakeru Ikeuchi performed the role of both director and art director for the anime. The real work was done by Urashimasakatasen and the real design of characters was done by Fuyuka Tsukimori. The series composition and script was managed by Hiroki Uchida. Anime R’s Sayumi Yokoyama designed the characters of anime and also done the direction of photography. The sound direction was done by Satoki Iida and the music composition was done by Masafumi Takada.
