Cats of the Louvre: Review

Cats of the Louvre, as the tile suggest is the delightful and sometimes a story about stray cats that live in the attic of a popular museum in Paris. There are three main characters in the manga: A young white cat, SnowBebe; a tour guide, Cecile and an old security guard, Marcel who lost his […]

In the sixth episode a new investigation starts after another murder. Two members of ‘From Enceladus’ are on the prime suspects. These members appear to be supernatural. Their superpowers become another reason for Sonia to investigate them. One of theses two members is a young girl, named Harazy and the other is Val Titan who used to be an astronaut. Both of them have been experimented by in a military hospital. Meanwhile Bela goes on a date with Roddy who finally get to ask to ask her out. Although she seems to be bored of him. However, her boring day out turned into most thrilling when she witnessed the powers of those humanoid monsters. It happened when a muscular man tris to hurt them. Val is framed by the government for committing murders that and kidnapping Harazy. As Bela failed to help him escape, he gets killed by the military, who takes Harazy away. It has now been revealed that Capturing Harazy was the initial target of Felt. Sonia, who could have helped and handled the situation seems lost in the plot as her presence doesn’t make any difference. She blindly seems to follow Felt even though she questions the Unseen Council. Her incompetency is evident when she does nothing knowing the truth about the wrongly accused humanoid monsters. Her character has not made any progress until now and especially after the watching episode 6, it can be said that her character is completely useless as we saw her roaming around pointlessly through the episode. However, she ridiculously survived the explosion by hiding behind the car. The other ridiculous thing happened in the episode was when they are walking in the sewer. What exactly did she fix when she said to Harazy “Give this to onee-chan” following next sentence “There, it’s all fixed” Although the doll was clean when she returned but how exactly it was done? That scene does not seem to make any sense Seems like few things are repeating itself. It happened when Bela throws herself in front of Val as the same thing happened to her in the previous episode. It would be a joke to think that they might come up with a better plan next time. Although, Episode 6 of BEM have a solid plot compared to the previous episodes, the anime still seems to be inconsistent and there are some loopholes in the story. Let see how this story moves forward in the upcoming episode.
