Boku no Hero Academia Chapter 254 – Manga Review

There was a time when Yamada, Oboro and Aizawa were close friends who dreamed about a startup, a hero agency. But we explored in chapter 254 of Boku no Hero Academia that not all dreams come true. Oboro was crushed under a building and so was their dream. In present, our detective reveals something big to our pro heroes.

Their old friend is probably lost in the darkness which is Kurogiri. There is a possibility because of Nomu operation that Oboro was significantly exploited for Kurogiri and from there a new villain had arrived. The duo being at the prison at the moment is the last opportunity to know that whether or not Nomu remember their old considerations that was supported by the fight between Endeavor and a Nomu who was once an underground fighter

Eraser Head unleashes his strength and attempts to make the Kurogiri talk. In the beginning it looked like a useless talk since Kurogiri can’t recall anything except their meeting at UA school event. But later when he Eraser Head starts to talk more, there seemed a little indication that the detective’s remarks are not that pointless. We even get to know that Aizawa does not terminate the students during the beginning stage of the evaluation. But he does that in written to motivate the new students. Aizawa’s passion makes the pro hero teacher cry when he courageously attempts to get his old friend back who now probably lies in the darkness of Kurogiri.

Will Aizawa keep his promise of that he made for them still being heroes or they really lost Oboro during the experiment? The truth will probably be revealed in the next chapter. Till then let’s discuss all good things about chapter 254 of Boku no hero Academai.

The concept of Nomus was always a little odd in the teachings of Boku no Hero Academia. We explored a bit more about them like how they came to existence and as we already knew that how they were created, but it was never revealed to us, how Nomu operated. This chapter revealed that Nomu are not just unknown figures but are created by combining different souls or body. Having said that, Nomu may seems like the puppets in rage whose strings have been detached but in truth these monsters have an identity and yet battling to show their being. It’s quite a scary concept.

Boku no Hero has always managed to show certain pro-heroes in a spotlight. Aizawa always seemed to be a serious, kind and strict teacher. But this chapter showed a somewhat different side of Aizawa, a younger side of Aizawa with friends and dreams to have an agency with them. This chapter showed passion in those strict eyes that we never saw before. It was heart wrenching.

Boku no Heroes likes to shoch the readers with the stories of its pro-heroes. This time it thrilled us with the different side of Aizawa. Let us know what do think about this chapter in the comments.
