BLEACH Set to Release New Season, and Tite Kubo’s Manga Burn the Witch Receiving Anime Adaptation

It’s been 8 years since the popular series BLEACH ended. It is the anime adaptation of a supernatural action-packed manga, written by Tite Kubo. The anime ended following the manga with its final arc and now it has been confirmed to be continued with Thousand-Year Blood War Arc and we will get to see Ichigo Kurosaki again next year.

Next year will be the 20th anniversary of the manga and the anime series will be released in honor of that in 2021. The upcoming series will focus on the intimidating connection between Soul Reapers and Quincy which briefly shown at the beginning of the manga. A high-class order of Quincy, called, Wandenreich attacks Soul Society and Hueco Mundo, Ichigo Kurusaki has to get ready to rescue more than one world. It’s a battle that will unleash multiple hidden truths about not just Soul Society but Ichigo as well. It has not been confirmed which studio will be producing the new anime but the previous series was produced by Studio Pierrot who has animated Naruto.

Burn the Witch is the manga also written by Tite Kubo which tells the story about two witches who work for Soul Society’s Western Branch, The manga is set to receive anime adaptation which will be produced by Studio Colorida who has produced by Penguin Highway and Pokémon: Twilight Wings. The anime will be released this year in autumn and will be directed by Tatsuro Kawano who has also been the part of Psycho-Pass 2. According to some unofficial resources, the manga has also started to drop a short manga series which initially did not plan to serialize. It has also been heard that the manuscripts are ready.

Thousand Year Blood Warc was serialized in volume 55 of the source material and was released in English by Viz Media. The manga is featured in Shonen Jump app. The previous episodes of the series can be watched on home video and is also available on the streaming site of Crunchyroll.  While Burn the Witch one-shot was featured in the Weekly Shonen Jump digital magazine on 16th July 2018.
