Black Clover Plot
The title character, Asta, lost his right arm and left leg because of the demon lord who had emerged after the Great Cataclysm, and his desire to become the Wizard King is the driving plot of Black Clover. Asta grew up alone in an orphanage, mocked for being born without magical powers. After being laughed at yet again, Asta came across a young child named Yuno. Despite their social level differences, they became friends after discovering that they both have an anti-Magic inclination. Asta chooses to attend the Black Clover Magic Knights’ training school, the Clover Kingdom’s most powerful magic academy, which has only 10 seats available for each generation. To realize his dream of becoming Wizard King, Asta must overcome his weakness and learn how to control his anti-magic powers.
In the first season, Asta’s close friend Yami Sukehiro is picked as one of ten students to be trained by Magic Knight Captain Julius Novachrono, a famous knight who retired due to a right arm injury. There are two more Clover Kingdom candidates: Noelle Silva and Gauche Adlai, and three more from the Re-Estize Kingdom: Luck Volta, Fana, and Licht.
The second season will follow Asta’s journey from the bottom of the Black Bull squad to becoming a Wizard King. At the same time, the young Black Clover members must defend their realm from an opposing organization’s invasion.
