Anime Part 2 Ascendance of a Bookworm Discloses Ad, Confirms April 4 Launch of 12 Episodes

On Thursday the authorized website of the television anime series of biblia fantasy novel named Ascendance of a Bookworm by Miya Kazuki started to telecast an advertisement of the subsequent part of the anime. The April 4th debut date of the subsequent part has been verified by the video. The website also disclosed a new key visual for the subsequent part and also updated home video set out details that verified the 12 episode duration of the subsequent par.

On April 4 the subsequent part will debut on ABC TV, on April 8 on Tokyo MX and WOWOW, and on April 9 on BS Fuji. From April 15 to June 17 the subsequent part will then be accessible in Japan in four three episodes on DVD volumes and on June 17 it will be accessible in a 12 episode Blu-ray box.

The subsequent part of the anime will feature Yuko Sanpei, Shō Karino, and Chiyo Tomaru as the voice over artists for characters Gil, Fran, and Delia correspondingly. All of the three new characters dressed in gray robes are church attendants who will work under Myne.

Last October the primary part of the anime was debuted and on December 25 it was concluded with 14 episodes. The primary part was telecast by Crunchyroll as soon as it was broadcast in Japan and on December 4 it also started to telecast an English dubbed version.

The anime will comprise of two OVAs that will premiere on March 10 with a limited edition of the primary novel of the series fifth part.

Both the light novels and manga version by Suzuka is being set out by J-Novel Club in English and it explains the story plot in following manner:

A specific school young lady whose cherished books since the time she was a young lady passes on in a mishap and is reawakened in a different universe she thinks nothing about. She is presently Myne, the debilitated five-year-old girl of a poor warrior. To compound the situation, the world she’s been reawakened in has a low education rate and books for the most part don’t exist. She’d need to pay colossal measures of cash to get one. Myne settle herself: If there aren’t any books, she’ll simply need to make them! She will probably turn into a custodian. This story starts with her journey to cause books so she too can live encompassed by them! Jump into this biblio-dream composed for book darlings and bibliophiles!

The anime is being directed at Ajia-do by Mitsuru Hongo along with subordinate director Yoshiki Kawasaki. The series scripts are being supervised by Mariko Kunisawa. The characters are being designed by Yoshiaki Yanagida and Toshihisa Kaiya. The starting theme song called Mashiro is being presented by Sumire Morohoshi and she is also making her first single performance with this song. The concluding song called Kamikazari no Tenshi of the anime is being presented by Megumi Nakajima.

In 2013 the original novel was started on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website and the print version was drawn by You Shiina. Last year the print version of the novel started to be set out by J-Novel Club.
