After watching Goblin Slayer I was left wanting more fantasy, adventure, and monster-hunting anime. We made a list for you guys to watch more anime like Goblin Slayer. You will love them all. Let’s get started without any delay.

Anime like Goblin Slayer

Record of Gan-crest War

Record of Gan-crest War

Just Like Goblin Slayer, Gancrest Senki is an anime full of fiction and wars. Gancrest Senki is a sophisticated anime. A fantastical world featuring monsters, demons, and even the devil is the setting for the anime.

Theo, the main character, saves the female lead, Siluca Meletes. She is an Alliance Faction mage who is traversing the world when she is rescued. Theo is a warrior who wields the “Crest”. It is a symbol that has the power to exterminate the world’s Chaos-infested beasts.

Seraph Of The End

Seraph Of The End

This anime boasts one of the best casts of characters and a very captivating plot. Owari no Seraph and Goblin Slayer both fall under the category of fantasy adventures with a touch of mystery and suspense.

The Vampires emerge from the shadows of Owari no Seraph’s world when a mystery illness wipes out all of the world’s adults. They then seize control of the planet and kidnap all of the remaining orphans. Yuuchirou, the main character, is one of these survivors.

His only objective is the abolition of all vampires, much like Goblin Slayer wants to murder all goblins, in response to the atrocities he witnessed the vampires perpetrate alongside his friends, family, and fellow humans.

Akame Ga Kill

Akame Ga Kill

The anime Akame ga Kill! is set in a fantastical society where assassinations, politics, and corruption are commonplace and the regular people only eat dust. A Revolutionary Army emerges amid this mayhem, and among them is a team of expert killers known as the Night Raid.

They work to remove the Prime Minister, who abuses his position by using the young emperor for his own personal advantage. The anime and Goblin Slayer share several characteristics, such as an adventure fantasy setting with some wicked weapons and magical abilities. It is undoubtedly worthwhile to watch.

The Legend of The Legendary Heroes

The Legend of The Legendary Heroes

This anime’s title is far too cheesy for me to take it seriously. I firmly believe that the name may have been somewhat, barely, improved! However, never judge a book by its cover! Actually, the anime is extremely fascinating. It starts out slowly, but after a few episodes of world-building and character introductions, the plot and action take up.

The story revolves around a mage adventurer by the name of Lute Ryner, who has what is known as an Alpha Stigma, a unique, enigmatic, and potent eye with the ability to detect any kind of magic. The plot is really intense and suspenseful, quite similar to that of Goblin Slayer.

Claymore

Claymore

This anime is for you if you enjoy adventures with a strong main character pair. In the fantastical setting of Claymore, settlements are terrorized by creatures known as “youma.” A youma attacked one of these villages, where a brown haired youngster named Raki lived. As Raki watches everyone close to him perish in front of him, Clare, a Claymore a half-human, half-youma created with the purpose of eradicating youma (saves him from harm).

Then, Raki joins Clare as her cook on her escapades, helping her fight youma and more! The anime is highly captivating and centres on Clare in a dramatic underlying plot. The anime is somewhat reminiscent to Youma Slayer and Goblin Slayer.

Drifters

Drifters

In the universe of Drifters, famous historical figures from Japanese history like monarchs and knights coexist with fantastical creatures and monsters.

We follow Toyohisa Shimazu as he serves as the rearguard for his retreating forces during the opening battle of the anime. The severely injured rearguard is mysteriously transported to a gleaming, opulent modern hallway with hundreds of entrances.

The anime follows Toyohisa on his explorations of ancient Japan while incorporating the presence of fantastical monsters. A magical world and similar aspects of surprise and delight can be found in anime!

Log Horizon

Log Horizon

The setting of another isekai anime is comparable to that of Goblin Slayer except for the isekai element. The gaming world of Log Horizon, an MMORPG, is filled with fantastical and mythological creatures. In Elder Tale, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game with monsters, magicians, devils, knights, and other characters, many players find themselves stranded at the start of the story.

Shiroe, the main character, is one of these gamers locked in Elder Tale, but thanks to his expertise in video games and adventure stories, he sets out to test the game’s boundaries. The anime is quite similar to Goblin Slayer, with the exception of the Isekai theme, magic, knights, and a dramatic overall tale.

D.Gray Man

D.Gray Man

Amazing manga called D.Gray-man is set in a time when men had god-like powers and fought for peace and justice. This universe is situated a thousand years in the past. These talented individuals engaged in combat with the Earl-led demonic darkness known as “Akuma,” which literally translates to “The Devil.”

A group called the Black Order, knights who could have the ability to kill Akuma with the power of innocence, was created to stop the Earl. The manga is fantastic and excels in terms of art direction, storyline, and character development. Even though I don’t like it, world-building is still very common among fans of adventure and fantasy.

Berserk

Berserk

If you’re not ok with blood, splatter, corpses, and dismembered junk on the ground, I encourage you to stay away from this gory anime. The character of Intestines, who was actually created from his mother’s guts spilling, only knows how to become berserk, in the movie Berserk.

Guts has only ever witnessed bloodshed, and he has only ever committed murder. The leader of the faction, the White Hawk, quickly enlists Guts as one of its members. Then, while on an expedition with this band, he makes a lot of discoveries. Character growth is shown in the primary characters of the anime in a manner that is quite similar, if not precisely the same.

Ancient Magus Bride

Ancient Magus Bride

I feel like there are hints of Beauty and the Beast throughout this anime. Although it is certainly not a direct copy, the idea was undoubtedly used as inspiration elsewhere. The story revolves around a mystery woman who has the ability to see extraterrestrial beings. Because of this talent, she has always felt like an outsider.

She was forced to literally sell herself in the slave market after being abandoned by her own parents. Elias Ainsworth, who may have been a man or a beast, saved her, and he treats her well because he understands what it’s like to be an outcast more than anything. He takes her in as his apprentice rather than a slave. The plot features a magical backdrop, adventure themes, and a shounen aesthetic.

Made in Abyss

Made in Abyss

Made in Abyss, which came in at number two but was only second to number one, is about a deep, gaping abyss that extends to the bottom of the world and makes you interested in it as you stand atop it. Many people attempt to peer into the Abyss’s depths and descend far into the pit without ever emerging.

The best diving species, known as White Whistles, are among these so-called Divers. One such White Whistle, Riko, believes she too wants to be courageous and daring like her mother, Lyza, a lost White Whistle! The anime is considerably different from other media, despite some striking parallels. I believe every Goblin Slayer fan would love it.

Demon Slayer

It goes without saying that this anime needs no introduction. With the recent box office success of Mugen Train, it is currently one of the most well-known modern anime series ever. The Demon Slayer Corps was created in the universe of Kimetsu no Yaiba in order to exterminate the demons that plague the terrestrial realms. Demon Slayers is a group of several skilled warriors who, as their name implies, kill demons.

I really like watching this anime since Tanjirou is the main character and it has a very interesting overall plot as well as a fun and interesting vibe to it. Although the two shows share a lot of similarities, I believe you would still love Demon Slayer even if they didn’t.
