On Monday the authorized website of the television anime of manga EX-ARM by Shinya Komi and HiRock disclosed the staff of the show.
The anime is going to be directed at the studio Visual Flight by Yoshikatsu Kimura, who has worked on the live action movies by 20th Century Boys and Ajin. The series scripts are being supervised by Tommy Morton and the music is being composed by Sō Kimura.
In January 2021 the anime is going to debut after being postponed from July to fall 2020 or later because of the consequences of the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The anime is going to be telecast by Crunchyroll as a Crunchyroll Original series. On Friday Crunchyroll is also going to host a panel featuring Sōma Saitō and Yoshikatsu Kimura at 4:15 p.m. EDT.
The anime is going to star the following:
- Sōma Saitō as Akira Natsume
- Mikako Komatsu as Minami Uezono
- Akari Kitō as Arma
The manga’s wrongdoing fight story fixates on secondary school understudy Akira Natsume. Just his cerebrum is spared when he is associated with a car crash, and it later turns out to be a piece of a serious weapon. Akira helps out the police’s EX-ARM countermeasure division so as to recover his lost recollections and body.
In February 2015 the manga with the HiRock’s story was commenced by Komi in the Shueisha’s Grand Jump magazine, as remake of his prior manga EX-VITA. In December 2017 the series transferred to the Shonen Jump+ website and app and in June 2019 it was concluded.
On February 19 a manga version EX-ARM Another Code based on the EX-ARM the Novel follow up by Atarō Kumo was commenced by Komi in the Shueisha’s Ultra Jump magazine. In August 2019 the manga EX-ARM EXA was commenced by Komi and HiRock in the Shueisha’s Grand Jump Mucha magazine.
