On Tuesday it was updated on the authorized English Twitter account of the Azur Lane franchise that in January 2021 the short television anime Azur Lane: Slow Ahead! of the four panel manga Azur Lane Bisoku Zenshin! by Hori is going to be telecast on Crunchyroll.
On January 11 the anime is going to telecast on Tokyo MX and BS11. On January 13 the anime is going to telecast on AT-X.
The anime is being directed by Masato Jinbo and the script is being penned by Yū Satō. The work is being produced by Yostar Pictures along with the studio CANDY BOX. The production cooperation has been ascribed by Yokohama Animation Lab. The designer of the characters is Hiromitsu Hagiwara and the main animation directors are Hagiwara and Kengo Saitō. The music is being composed by SHADE. One of the theme songs called Longing for! is being presented by Emi Nitta and the other theme song called Mahiru-iro Siestais being presented by Yui Sakakibara.

In April 2018 the manga was commenced by Hori and it is in succession on the authorized Twitter account of the franchise and on the publisher Ichijinsha’s website Azur Lane.
In October 2019 the main television anime of smartphone game Azur Lane by Xiamen Yongshi was debuted. The series was streamed by Funimation with English captions and an English dubbed version. In March the episodes 11 and 12 were broadcast.
In the first game for iOS and Android gadgets, players gather mid twentieth century warships from different nations and use armadas of six boats to fight foes. The game has been formed by Shanghai Manjuu and Xiamen Yongshi and in May 2017 it was set out in China by bilibili. In September 2017 the game was set out in Japan by Shanghai Yostar. In May 2019 the English version of the game was set out by Yostar.
