An anime series based on a manga named Jujutsu Kaisen by Gege Akutami has been revealed on the 52nd issue of Weekly Shonen Jump’s cover page.
The plot includes a dark fantasy genre which revolves around a high school student named Yuji Itadori who has indulge himself in a battle against curses. This story started featuring in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2018. So far 7 volumes of the manga has been released.
The show was advertised on the title page of the magazine and this week a special spread was also featured.
The voice actors casted for the anime has been revealed as well, with Yuji Itadori receiving the voice of Fushiguro, Megumi Fushiguro receiving the voice of Yuma Uchida and finally Nobara will voice the character Asami Seto. The three starring members will be making an appearance on the second day of Jump Festa 2020 as guests, the interview will take place at Chiba’s Makuhari Messe on 22 and 21 December 2019.
