On Saturday it was declared by the YouTube channel of the Hong Kong content distributor MediaLink Entertainment Limited’s Ani-One that it is going to telecast a simulcast of the subsequent season Dr. Stone: Stone Wars of the anime of manga Dr. Stone by Boichi and Riichirou Inagaki. It also updated a Chinese captioned trailer of the anime.
On January 14 the new season is going to debut in Japan on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, BS11, and TV Aichi, and it is also going to telecast online.
To direct the subsequent season at TMS Entertainment Shinya Iino is coming back. To pen and oversee the series scripts Yuichiro Kido is also coming back. The characters are again being designed by Yuko Iwasa. To compose the music Tatsuya Katō, Hiroaki Tsutsumi, and Yuki Kanesaka are coming back.
The starting theme song called Rakuen is going to be presented by Fujifabric and the concluding theme song called Koe? is going to be present by Hatena.
In March 2017 the manga was commenced in Weekly Shonen Jump by Boichi and Inagaki. The manga is being issued by Viz Media in digital form and in print form and it explains the primary volume of the manga in the following manner:
