The One Piece manga released a good amount of instalment this year with a lot of chapters related to the great Wano Arc. Since 997 chapters has already been released so far, the manga is just 3 chapters away to reach the milestone of 1000 chapters. Although Oda had resolution of achieving that target in 2020 but unluckily that won’t be possible due to few delays. The next chapter of One Piece will release on 14 December 2020 which will be the second last chapter to release this year.
Since there will be holidays after one more issue, The Weekly Shonen Jump will continue publishing from 2nd or 4th January 2021. The next two chapters will be last chapters of this year and are highly anticipated chapters since the manga has reached to a very intriguing part of the plot. Chapter 1000 will be the first chapter of 2021.
The most significant part of the previous chapter was the floating Onigashima, the base island of Beast Pirates. It was actually soaring above the sea and heading towards the land of Wano. Emperor Kaido made it possible with his dragon devil fruit power. The body of Kaido is quite humongous in dragon form. Such a giant figure soar in sky without any wings. According to Yamato, Kaido manages to hover by producing dragon flames in his transformation so when he is not in his dragon form he bring those flames to use in order to make the entire castle float in the air and move as if it’s part of his body. That was something highly unusual and unique that left us in shock.
As everyone witness the source of earthquake when island moved and head towards the Land of Wano, they had no idea what’s going to happen. Kaido is taking the whole base to the Land of Wano to make it his “New Onigashima,” where Yamato is a shogun. This New Onigashima is the base of v who are the ally of Big Mom Pirates instigating war against the World Government. This is going to be most epic war ever against the World Government according to the wish of Kaido
Meanwhile, Zoro is infuriated after witnessing O-Kiku’s falling from the roof. The antidote to cure the virus has been obtained by Chopper and he is now trying to heal everyone with it. Zoro diverts his anger towards the Queen by telling to stop the silly games and demand for Kaido. That’s when Marco shows up and claims to bring straw hats to the sky. The next battle is probably going to be held between King and Marco.
Samhi is caught by Black Maria and completely ignored while Luffy and Jinbei also make their way towards the roof of the castle. The remaining straw hats are also divided into two groups. Nami and Usopp hardly got out of a serious situation and not capable to fight anymore. Brook is going to be with Chopper and will be assisting with the virus cure. Robin, Zoro, and Marco will try to find the way towards the roof.
Kaido has made things harder as the battleground is in the open now. He is going to bring the castle to the flower capital and take it to a significant place to rule. Orochi is no more and now there is no shogun in Wano. Kaido will likely announce the cope and that will be the good time for straw Hats to put a halt on Kaido’s way. Big Mom is moving towards Kaido and facing two emperors at the same time is not going to be easy. There is a lot to happen before we reach to the climax.
