So Ahiru no Sora returns after making us wait for 1 week. It started from the point it ended. However, the Opening and Ending theme are different. I’m not really sure if I like both themes. The old previous ending theme was way too good. So, it’s sad that I probably won’t be able to listen that theme again after every episode. Probably I will like this this ending theme after some time as it is not that bad. The previous opening theme titled, Happy Go Ducky was the right theme according to the early episodes of the anime. This time around the opening theme is somewhat reminiscent of old episodes especially if you love all the characters. On second thoughts, it’s actually a good opening theme
Let’s get to the episode. Nabe and Chucky were the main focus of this episode. It’s very unlikely that they will get any other episode with them being the focused in the future. Chucky and Nabe have always been like outsiders in the team as it always seemed like they are only doing this for their friends. We could never know what exactly make them play basketball except for 2 facts that they failed in. One is to declare the superiority and the other is girls. They had always been the source of some hilarious and funny moments but I’m glad that they are getting serious about Basketball. No matter what the reason is, it’s good to have the team back together. Thanks to those Middle School kids for making that happen.
Although Yasu was not focused in this episode. I’m starting to like him. I was glad to see him getting apart from those two. Now I want to see how his character will develop now. It is definitely going to bring some changes in his character. He is one of the newest in the sport and is dedicated to it. Probably in the future, we will get to see the drive to be with the team but guess then he stay just because he truly likes it. There are some new characters that I’m excited about but then I’m also worried about Yasu as he will probably be benched after that.
But I think that we will have to wait for the newcomers from the opening. We were also introduced to Nao’s cousin who was quite funny but that’s just about it. There wasn’t anything special about him. I’m still confused about the purpose of his appearance, probably it was just for some funny moments. But as soon as he entered the court, he acted differently. What kind of character he is? We will surely learn that in the near future as the team is soon about to have a proper match. The team played against the girl’s team and Maru high but they finally played as team without being dependent on Sora throughout the match. Sora is my favorite character and the best player but still I want others to be good as well. I want them all to be the best players.
Can’t wait for the next episode. If there will be a match then it will be entirely different from all the match that we have witnessed so far in the anime. Each of theme will have to give their best and use some good techniques to defeat their opponent. Cheers to all of them.
