The anime series After the Rain which is the production of WIT Studio, is now announced to be acquired by Sentai Filmworks. It is the adaptation of a character based, complex manga with the same title. After the Rain tells the story about two people who comes across each other. There are times in life when the certain decisions and situations no matter how big or small, describes a person. Akira Tachibana was one of the best in track club but unfortunately after an injury she couldn’t continue with her passion in sport. Masami Konodo is a father who has been divorced. He wanted to become a writer but ended up managing a restaurant. Akira works in the same restaurant. When the separate lives of these two is linked with each other, they ponder and reevaluate about themselves and their lives.
Ayumu Watanabe is the director of After the Rain and Hitomi Mieno is in charge of series composition. Sayumi Watebe has performed the role of Akira. Whereas, Ayumu Watanabe has played the role of Masami Kondo. Soon the series will be available in selected digital outlets and home video.
