On Monday it was declared by the ABS-CBN’s Yey! Channel through an advertising that it is going to broadcast anime Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card. On June 29 two episodes of the anime is going to debut on the channel at sharp 6:00 p.m. GMT +8, with new episodes on every weekday at sharp 6:30 p.m. GMT +8.
In January 2018 the anime was debuted and was 22 episodes were broadcast.
To direct the new series at Madhouse Morio Asaka came back from the primary television anime series and two movies. The series composition was supervised by CLAMP’s Nanase Ohkawa and she also penned the scripts of the series. The designer of characters was Kunihiko Hamada and the designer of costume and card designs was CLAMP’s Mokona. The sound was directed by Masafumi Mima, and the music was composed by Takayuki Negishi. The anime was produced by NHK, Kodansha, and NHK Enterprise.
In June 2016 the follow up manga series Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card was commenced in Nakayoshi by CLAMP.
