Comic Edo’s manga “Imōto Sae Ireba Ii”, which was inspired from the light novel series “A sister’s all you need” by Yomi Hirasaka, will end in the August-September combined issue of Shogakukan’s Sunday GX magazine on 19 July. This was revealed on Wednesday, in the July issue of the magazine.
The novel series “A Sister Is All You Need” is licensed by Yen Press and it narrates the story as follows:
The protagonist Itsuki Hashima is fixated with the thought of having younger sisters. He is a Novelist and he is all the time surrounded by various lively characters. These characters include a fellow male writer, a genius and beautiful writer who loves him, his talented editor and a big-sisterly classmate in his college. All the characters have their own worries and problems. However, they always brighten up each other’s day when they are together, because they work, travel and play games together.
In December 2015 the Manga was launched by Edo in Sunday GX. The 8th volume of the manga was published by Shogakukan on Thursday. In 2015, the novel series was launched by Hirasaka and its art work was done by Kantoku, who also did illustrations for The “Hentai” Prince and the Stony Cat. The 4th volume was published by Yen Press on 21 May and on 18 April, the 12th volume was shipped.
In October 2017, the Television Anime inspired by the novel series made its premiere. The Anime was streamed by Crunchyroll at the same time that it was televised in Japan and its English dub was streamed by Funimation.
