On July 3 the franchise Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba by Koyoharu Gotouge is going to have 80 million copies for distribution. Digital copies and the 3 million copy primary printing of the forthcoming 21st manga volume is comprised in this number and it is going to dispatch on that day which is next week.
Since April 2019 the franchise had 3.5 million copies in distribution, this time the television anime of the manga was premiered, and then in last October the 17th volume of the manga was issued and then more than 12 million copies were in distribution. Last December the 18th volume of the manga was premiered with a record of primary print form of 1 million copies, which rise up the total distribution of the franchise to more 40 million, and then on May 13 with the 20th volume it was increase to more 60 million copies. Last November it was disclosed by Shueisha that the manga Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba id the subsequent highest selling manga of the company, only second to the manga One Piece by Eiichiro Oda.
On May 18 the maga was concluded. A short follow up manga named Kimetsu no Yaiba: Rengoku Gaiden is going to be commenced by Ryōji Hirano and the manga will revolve on the Flame Hashira character Kyōjurō Rengoku. A debut date for the follow up has not been declared by Shueisha.
In April 2019 an anime was debuted consisting 26 episodes based on the manga . The series has been certified by Aniplex of America and it is telecasting the show on Hulu, Crunchyroll, and FunimationNow. Last October the anime series was telecast on Adult Swim’s Toonami programming block. On October 16 a follow up anime movie is going to be released in Japan based on the anime.
A stage play version and forthcoming Smartphone and PlayStation 4 games has been made based on the manga. In July the third forthcoming novel is going to be dispatch.
