On Tuesday it was disclosed by the July issue of Kadokawa’s Shōnen Ace magazine that on June 26 a new manga named Shikabane-Gatana is going to be commenced by Hajime Segawa in the magazine’s next issue.
The battle action based manga focuses on Jūki Kiki, a center school kid who carries on with a glad life in spite of somewhat odd family conditions. Yet, when an incredible fiasco strikes, weird zombie-like animals seize his more youthful sister. To discover the whereabouts of his more youthful sister, Jūki heads to beast swarmed Tokyo, and there gets an opportunity experience with a secondary school young lady employing a baffling blade.
From 2006 to 2010 the mystical action manga The Enchained Spiritual Beast Ga-Rei was issued by Segawa and the 12 assembled volumes were issued by Kadokawa. Recently the now non-operational JManga app distributed those in English, and now all volumes are accessible in English on the Kadokawa’s BookWalker app.
In 2008 the prequel television anime Ga-Rei: Zero was made based on the manga and in North America the series was set out by Funimation on home video. A live action television series is being made by Craig Kyle the Thor producer and Thor: Ragnarok co-writer, based on the Ga-Rei. On February 1 the franchise also received a prequel novel named Ga-Rei: Kizashi by Katsuhiko Takayama.
In July 2016 the manga Tokyo ESP was concluded by Segawa. In 2010 he commenced the afterschool psychic action series in the Kadokawa’s Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine just after concluding Ga-Rei. The 16 assembled volumes were issued by Kadokawa for Tokyo ESP. In North America the manga was issued in two in one compiled volumes by Vertical. In 2014 a TV anime was made based on the manga.
