Best Shōnen Manga
Name: Tokyo Revengers

Each of the winning authors was awarded with a certificate, bronze statuette, and 1 million yen (about US$9,100). The selection board was formed by Ken Akamatsu, Tochi Ueyama, Oh! great, Atsushi Kase, Akiko Higashimura, Yūji Moritaka, and Waki Yamato.
In previous years the award for Best Children’s Manga was also given by Kodansha, but in the beginning of 2015 Kodansha has combined the nominees of that category in to the Best Shōnen Manga and Best Shōjo Manga categories.
Last year both manga The Quintessential Quintuplets by Negi Haruba and manga To Your Eternity by Yoshitoki Ōima was awarded with the Best Shonan Manga award. The Best Shōjo Manga award was given to Perfect World by Rie Aruga. The Best General Manga award was given to What Did You Eat Yesterday? by Fumi Yoshinaga.
