Last week it was disclosed by Indonesian publisher Elex Media Komputindo that it has certified manga A Man and His Cat by Umi Sakurai and will also set out it on the fourth week of January.
The manga and book is being set out by Square Enix in North America. It explains the manga in the following manner:
In the pet shop he calls home, a pudgy, simple feline abides the hours tuning in to coos of joy from potential pet parents but he realizes it’s not him they’re getting all worked up about. Indeed, even as his value drops as time passes, nobody saves the kitty a look. Having everything except abandoned life, the cat dejectedly anticipates his first birthday celebration, when he’ll formally be past his sell-by date. So when a more seasoned man of honor comes into the shop and needs to take him home, the cat himself is generally stunned of all! Will the man and the feline find what they’re looking for in one another?
In 2017 the manga was commenced by Sakurai and in June 2020 the fifth compiled book volume of the manga was issued by Square Enix. On January 6 a live action series was debuted that has been made based on the manga.
