On Wednesday the manga maker Junya Inoue updated on Twitter that this spring they will commence a new manga temporary named Kaijū Jieitai. Studio Hisekutta is also involved in the working of the new manga. On Wednesday Junya Inoue updated a photo from the manga.
In 2009 the manga Btooom! was commenced in Shinchosha’s Weekly Comic Bunch magazine by Inoue and then in 2011 it was moved to the Monthly Comic @Bunch. In March 2018 the consecutive of the manga was ended in Monthly Comic @Bunch and later that year a diverse ending took place in Shinchosha’s B Bunch magazine. In July 2018 the two adaptations of the mangas 26th and last volume was dispatched.
The manga is being issued by Yen Press in English.
In 2012 the anime version of 12 episodes of the series was broadcast. The anime was telecast by Crunchyroll as soon as it was broadcast and in 2013 the series was set out by Sentai Filmworks on Blu-ray Disc and DVD form. A multiplayer Smartphone game by the developer Asobimo was made based by the manga.
